Sell or buy an Oriental rug in Brussels

Dealing is the family's original trade: buying, valuing and selling Oriental rugs, knowing the provenances and the hands that made them. In Brussels, we value your rug from a photo and advise you if you are looking for a piece.

Modern and classic rugs on display in the showroom

Selling a rug

Send a photo of the front, a photo of the back (the back of a rug says a lot about the knot and the age) and the dimensions. We give you a first valuation, then look at the piece if it interests us.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my rug is valuable?

The knot (hand or machine), the material, the age, the origin, the fineness and the condition all count. Turn the rug over: if the pattern is as sharp on the back as on the front and the knots are slightly irregular, it is probably hand-knotted. After that, a photo is enough for us to give you a first idea.

Do you buy damaged rugs?

It depends on the piece. A good antique rug, even worn, can be valuable once restored. Send the photo.
